Gyeongbokgung

 Gwanghwamun, The largest and best of Seoul's five main palaces, has been a number of times destroyed and rebuilt. Today it is one of the most popular sights, with hordes of tourists.

Leeum Samsung Museum of Art

Itaewon, This is Korea's best art museum, beautifully designed and tastefully balancing traditional and contemporary art.

 

Deoksugung

DeoksugungDeoksugung is one of Seoul's five grand palaces from the Joseon dynasty. It is the only one open for night visits. It is located in Myeong-dong.

 

National Museum of Korea

This very large museum is located in Yongsan-gu. It takes you through Korea's history from prehistory to modern times.

War Memorial of Korea

This large museum in Yongsan-gu documents the Korean War using historical artifacts and state-of-the-art, multimedia exhibits.

 

Bongeun-sa

This Buddhist temple is situated in Gangnam, on the hillside with dense tree coverage. Given the urban environment, the surrounding put it in the middle of greenery, providing some peace and serenity to people against the ultra-busy culture across Seoul.

 

Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park

This neofuturistic cultural complex by Zaha Hadid is located in Dongdaemun; this was built at the site belonging to the historic Dongdaemun Stadium.
